 Greg Oveson competed for the Mountaineers from1970-1973 and achieved the following honors;

- School Record in Javelin at 237 feet 11 inches
- NAIA District 2 Championships, Javelin 1st place
- NAIA National track and Field Meet, Javelin 5th place
- Performance All-American, Track and Field
- First team Evergreen Conference, Football
- NAIA District 2 First team, Football
- All-Little Northwest First team, Football
- All-American Honorable Mention, Football
- Team MVP
