Daggett was the starting running back for the Mounties in 1955 and 1956 and led the league in rushing both seasons. Daggett’s honors include two time Oregon Collegiate Conference first team selection, 1956 Small College All-Pacific Coast first team and Mountaineer football MVP in both 1955 and 1956. Daggett played professional football for the Canadian Football Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Arizona Rattlers.
