Despite playing at EOU from only 2000 to 2002, she made her mark on the program, conference and on the national scene. Brooke’s honors include: 1st Team All-Conference honors in 2000-2001, being named CCC Player of the Year in 2001-2002, and NAIA All-American recognition in 2001-2002. As a team captain, she was part of a remarkable turnaround for the EOU Women’s Basketball program, propelling them from an 8-17 record in 2000-2001 to a 20-5 record in 2001-2002 and securing the program’s first-ever CCC Championship. Brooke also led the conference in scoring during the 2001-2002 season, with an average of 18.7 points per game, all while maintaining a strong presence on the boards with an average of 6.6 rebounds per game. Graduating with a B.S. in Biology in 2003, Brooke now resides in Toledo, Washington, with her spouse Ismael Acosta and their four children: Nico, Joaquin, Oscar, and Cruz.
