While at Eastern between 1979-1980 Robert was recognized for the following Individual achievements:

-        All Evergreen Conference Offensive lineman 2^nd team 1979

-        All Evergreen Conference 1^st team offensive Lineman 1980

-        All NAIA District 2 Offensive lineman 1980

-        Team Co-Captain

-        Associated Press All West Coast Team


After playing at Eastern Robert played professional football with the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League for 2 years. His Pro career was cut short due to injuries.
