The team of Gary Schroeder, Tim Leque, Greg Castellaw, and Don Tucker achieved tremendous success representing EOU and reaped the following accolades:
-Northwest Ski Conference Cross Country Event 1st Place
- Northwest Ski Conference team overall 3rd Place
-NCSA (National Collegiate Ski Association) 7.5 Kilometer – 1st Place
-NCSA 5 Kilometer Relay 1st Place
In the Conference event held at Mt Hood in which the team placed 1st individual finishes included:
- Don Tucker 13th
- Greg Castellaw- 5th
- Tim Leque- 2nd
- Gary Schroeder- 1st
At the National Ski meet held in Marquette Michigan Individual Places in the 7.5 K included:
- Don Tucker 16th
- Greg Castellaw- 7th
- Tim Leque- 5th
- Gary Shroeder- 2nd
The relay team that won the 5 k included; Schroeder, Leque and Castellaw.
